Ο αμερικανός επενδυτής ήταν παρών στους αγώνες του 2020 στέλνοντας ηχηρό μήνυμα την περίοδο του Covid -19, στηρίζοντας παράλληλα την διοργάνωση. Ήδη έχει ανακοινωθεί η διοργάνωση του επόμενου Romania Muscle Fest στις 12 -14 Νοεμβρίου 2021. Ο Wood γνωρίζει την γεωγραφική και πολιτισμική σπουδαιότητα της ευρώπης, συνεπώς θέλει να “παίξει” εντός, στην έδρα της IFBB του προέδρου Ραφαέλ Σαντόχα που με την σειρά του “εισέβαλε” στις ΗΠΑ με τον Wayne DeMilia

Closing out an amazing, yet unique IFBB Professional League Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro-Am weekend & getting to share a few laughs with this phenomenal individual, Jake Wood. It was a quick celebration in that the show was able to be completed without any governmental shutdown. The athletes were appreciative to be able to step onstage throughout all of 2020’s craziness. The bodybuilding world has quickly grown to a warm fondness for this giant of a man. I feel somewhat privileged that I knew him way back when… now, his name has become synonymous to the upper echelon of bodybuilding ambassadorship in the iron industry. As tall as he humbly stands, his dedicated love for our sport reaches even greater heights, acquiring the role as the new owner of the most prestigious bodybuilding platform on Earth, the pinnacle stage in all of bodybuilding, Joe Weider’s Mr. Olympia. Already widely known as the man at the helm at Wings of Strength, Jake and his extraordinary WOS team have essentially kept the aspirations & dreams alive for all IFBB Professional League PROS & NPC Worldwide amateur athletes alike this season. The pandemic crisis has put firm clamps on scheduled events in 2020, devastatingly canceling most contests throughout the globe. Despite Covid-19 protocol; its strict mandates, social distancing constraints & limited or no audiences permitted in venues, Jake’s unwavering commitment is extremely commendable to not pull the plugs in his association in ownerships & sponsorships with a plethora of contests on the Olympia & Wings of Strength 2020 calendar. He simply never displayed any indication to quit with strict orders to keep forging forward for the competitors. His passion, integrity and bold will to not give up on the athletes’ cause has been impressive to say the least. It is unfathomable to the vast majority the sacrifices, challenges and plummeting revenue losses that this industry leader has had to endure through these unprecedented times.
